Early Access — Founder Supported

Install QuestWorks for Microsoft Teams

Add to Microsoft Teams

~16 KB · Microsoft Teams app package · v1.3.0

You'll be working directly with the founder. QuestWorks for Teams is in Early Access. The plumbing works and we run it on real teams — but expect rough edges. As a prerequisite for installing, please add asa@questworks.games to a private channel in your Team. That's the deal: you get founder-direct support, we get to make the product great with you.

Rather wait until it's out of Early Access?

Drop your email and we'll let you know when QuestWorks for Teams hits general availability. No spam, one email.

Walkthrough

3 steps for your Teams admin

1

Grant admin consent (one click)

Do this first — the bot needs Graph API permissions before install so its first-run flow (channel creation, calendar scheduling) works without errors. Click below, sign in as a Global Admin or Cloud App Admin, review the permissions, and click Accept.

Grant admin consent →

Opens the Microsoft consent dialog · Closes itself when done

You'll be asked to consent to:

Calendars.ReadWrite Application
Channel.Create Application
ChannelSettings.ReadWrite.All Application
Why Application permissions? The bot schedules quests for any team member without each player going through OAuth. No sign-ins, no popups — onboarding feels native.

Download the app package

This .zip contains the manifest and icons that let your Teams admin center recognize QuestWorks.

Download QuestWorks-for-Teams.zip ↓ ~16 KB · Version 1.3.0
3

Upload to Teams Admin Center

  1. Open Teams Admin Center → Manage apps (sign in as a Teams Service Admin or Global Admin).
  2. Click + Upload new appUpload → choose the .zip you just downloaded.
  3. Click Add to team, pick the Team where you want QuestWorks to live (or create one called QuestWorks Pilot), and confirm.

QuestWorks auto-creates a #QuestWorks channel in that Team and posts a welcome card.

If upload is blocked: your tenant disables custom app uploads. Enable at Teams apps → Setup policies → Global → Upload custom apps. Can take up to 24 hours to take effect.
